Best Thai I've had in a while. Will definitely go there more often.
Food was so good, so fresh, and so affordable. The atmosphere is so relaxing with perfect music selection and the seats are plush and comfy. Everything just made it seem like a much more expensive restaurant than it is.
Excellent food and service! Would definitely recommend this place and go again
Everything looked so good and it delivered! Incredibly friendly staff and a nice environment that is both upscale and still family friendly!
Thai tea is too sweet! everything else is great.
Would of given a 5 but menu needs improvements. Never have eaten Thai had to go by pictures in MAPS plus lunch menu was vague. After I ordered I was able to see their 2 go menu which had dinner on it. Dinner menu was more descriptive.Pictures would of helped a lot. Over all service was great so was the food.
BEST THAI PLACE EVER. Better than the King & I!!!! They even offer complimentary cupcakes!!!! I'm so glad they opened up in Pooler! The food is so good. You can taste how fresh their ingredients are, and it's like a roller coaster of flavors on your tongue. The sushi is incredible, pad thai is amazing (I also love their yellow curry). I can not get enough of this place. It's like it doesn't even matter what menu item I try, I'm going to be satisfied. Oh and the portion sizes are large!!!!! This place is definitely worth it. I finally have a favorite Thai restaurant to go to! THANK YOU!!!!!!
We ordered a stir fry dish and a noodle soup. Food tasted a little bit too salty but as Asian, they were perfectly seasoned for us. Service was good. The only thing we didnt like too much was the shrimp was not fresh enough.
The restaurant is cozy and clean. The food is really delicious and beautifully presented. The Thai Tea is yummy. I plan to go again soon.
Fantastic food. Have eaten there 4 times already, they just recently opened. I have been there for both lunch and dinner and ordered a different dish each time. Every meal was amazing and delicious. The Summer Rolls are delicious!!!And the waitstaff are so helpful and kind. Never feel rushed. Love to eat there at least once a week. Food is always fresh and great presentation. Prices are very reasonable. If you like lamb, the New Zealand Lamb Chops are the bomb!!!!Don't miss this Thai restaurant.Much more than sushi!!
I was disappointed dining here. The steak was cooked fine and tasted fine. The disappointment was that asparagus and rice was supposed to be included, but I didn't get them (I didn't ask for them because I was doubting myself that they were included until I reread the menu when I left). All I got was steak, a bunch of carrots, 3-4 brocolli florets and some slices of cucumber.
Went to Papaya last night for the first time. The food and service was very good. We tried the appetizer sampler and I had the Tom Yum soup and green Thai Curry. All very good. We'll be back.
Papaya Thai Cuisine is a relatively new thai and sushi fusion to Pooler that fits right into the growing array of resturaunts in the area. For fans of the King and I in midtown Savannah, Papaya will be a familiar and hip place to dine on Thai favorites with the added benefit of excellent an sushi selection. The decor is stunning, but there were times where the to-and-from the kitchen activity to the bar became a touch distracting. Papaya has very good house sangria and sake at fair prices, and the food was flavorful and portioned well. The service was a little slow on the night I went, but not unreasonably so. We will be coming back to try their noodles soon, and I encourage any fans of Asian food to give Papaya in Pooler a visit!
This is actually a zero star review. My husband and I just left here. We stood at the front door, waiting to be seated as the sign says, for 10 minutes. I timed it after waiting a bit. There was a waitress 2 feet in front of us, not a single glance or "hang on we'll be with you in a sec" nada. Two other wait staff came out from the back, saw us and did nothing. We ended up going to the little seafood place next door .. who are friendly by the way.Your food might be the greatest thing on Earth, but your staff is rude. We won't even attempt to go back.
Awesome food...loved the yellow curry....quick service.... very busy....will go again so many great choices... appetizer+2 meals 45$ price was great......hope they expand because they are going to need a bigger place.....
Warm and Tasty food near the Tanger Outlet mall. Very prompt service. Highly recommended.
We ate at the new one in Richmond Hill. Everything was spectacular. I had the coconut shrimp, crispy spicy tuna roll and the Thai Curry Beef! Veggies are organic according to the menu. We will be regulars.
Great spot to have good Thai food. Pricing and the quantity of food is just right .
Ordered a few different types of sushi to try and my husband got the Thai Fried Rice with pork. First of all, the fried rice with pork was great. It was very flavorful and cooked right. The sushi was good. The crunch roll was the best. The spicy tuna had the most spice punch out of any I've ever tried. The flavor was definitely there. For the sushi it definitely needs to be rolled tighter. The 2 we had most of the pieces fell apart when I tried picking them up with chopsticks. However, I absolutely love the price of the sushi rolls for lunch. Much cheaper than most other places. No more $5 Sushi at Publix on Wednesdays for me!As far as the setup, the space is limited so it feels a little like you are sitting at the table with those at the next table over. Hard to carry a private conversation with your party.Overall, I would still definitely recommend. And I will be back to try more dishes soon.
Very good food, only been there once but everyone loved it and we'll go back.
Great Thai curry - have come back several times. The waiters have also been great, which is refreshing. Try it out!
I drove all the the way from Garden City to Richmond Hill (not knowing it was one in Pooler). The customer service was HORRIBLE. I sat at curbside for the longest with no greeting so I called my order in thinking they will only bring the food out if an order was placed, placed the order and went back to curbside....sat there for 9 minutes the girl never came to my car she was wiping down tables with an attitude all over her face. I got out the car and asked her if they are doing curbside, she mumbled something, asked me my name and said your food is right there. Then my order wasn't enough food to feed a child. I'm mad at the person who recommended me to this place. (Some reason it won't let me add a picture but I do have one)
Food was good, place is cute, price is right...
Service was phenomenal. We had our appetizers within 10 minutes after ordering, and the food quality was excellent. I had the Pad Thai, and my wife had the Duck Curry. Highly recommend both dishes. This is now our to go Thai place in Pooler.
First time there. Was looking at the empty glass in front of me. Seen woman lips, (red lip stick) on the glass rim. Asked the waiter for a manager. He said what wrong it’s Not Your Color. Want be back there. Don’t get the red snapper unless u like the head on, with the fish looking at u while your eating it.
I was very impressed with this new place in Pooler. The restaurant atmosphere was very relaxing, the staff was very nice and the food was AMAZING. I ordered the Summer rolls with peanut sauce and Pad Thai and was very pleased with my selection. I cant wait to go back and try their sushi
Amazing food. Good service. Nice decorum. There is a good variety of Thai food available along with sushi options. The drinks are great and presented well. The yellow curry was spot on in flavor and presentation, although I would have like the option of sticky rice with it. The rolls were delicious and freshly made. The prices are very reasonable. Definitely recommend trying out.
Interesting place. One of the few places that will actually give you " Thai Hot" if you request it, and yes, it is hot enough to make you break out in sweat. The drinks are good and the place done surprisingly well as far as decor. Parking is easy right now because half of the strip mall is vacant, but I expect that to change.
I'll give 5 stars for the food, but only 2 for the service. Everything we had was outstanding...hot, juicy, fresh, flavorful, perfect. Our server on the other hand, well...bless his little heart. We will be back for the food though, and hopefully a better server!
The Shrimp was amazing! LITERALLY everything I put in my mouth was amazing.
This place is amazing! I wish I could give it more than 5 stars! The food was absolutely delicious. The lunch portion was very large and my bill was only $10.00 which I feel is a good price for the quality of food. I had a Tai dish and it was superb...it came out piping hot!I was on a business trip and the employees were quick to seat us, quick to take our order, and quick to bring the check. Very time efficient for us. The server filled my glass multiple times and was very attentive.I wish I lived in this town...I would come as often as I could and try every dish!
Excellent Service! Food was good. Will return. 1st time eating sushi and it was excellent.
Loved this place. Great food that really tasted fresh.
Great place for a date night. A little small, but the staff is great and the good is fantastic. Try the white wine sangria!
This restaurant is the best. Great food, great people and when you walk in you feel comfortable and relaxed. The food was so good I forgot to take a picture of it. Had the crunch roll and something else, but you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. If you made it to the end of the review, scroll back up and start the navigation. Definitely coming back and bringing friends and family.
California roll was bland but edible. Chicken pad Thai was so sweet we couldn’t eat it. Had to ask for salt to cut the sugar, which helped a little. No one in the restaurant knew what gluten free soy sauce was and said they didn’t have it. I’m giving it 2 stars because one person out of our party of three said the food was “okay.â€
We were 6 for a Birthday dinner. No one had ever eaten here and no one had ever had Thai food. But the venture paid off. The food was great, the service better than most. So Thank you to Mr. Jimmy, our server and Miss Tee, the owner, for such a welcoming culinary experience.
Sushi better than Wasabi and sushi Hana. Very good masaman curry too. Great local spot. Tables are a bit close together though and it does get crowded (for good reason). Will definitely be back.
The atmosphere is cozy and pleasant. The servers are very attentive and the portions very quite large, especially the kids meals. I really liked the craftsmanship on the sushi rolls and the vegetables in the stirfry were large cut but cooked to perfection. Everything here seems to have some tropical fruit flavors, whether listed or not, so be prepared for that. The reason it did not get 5 stars is that the nigiri sushi did not seem fresh at all, which was quite disappointing. I wont order sushi here again.
Service was fantastic! The food was delicious. Love Thai food and they did not disappoint! Sushi was also great very fresh! Definitely a place to go try and become a regular.
Our waiter was SO polite and patient. The food was wonderful! I split the salmon with my son, and he ate every bit of it. The sashimi was excellent, and I LOVE that it's fairly priced! It's so hard to find adequate pricing on sashimi in the US.We will come back here for sure!
New restaurant with very good menu options.Best spring roll I ever had. Light and flaky. Also get the friend rice with entrees. We all enjoyed our entrees and had very good service! We will definitely go back.
This was a great place. Sushi was amazing. Plum wine was delicious. Staff was attentive.
The food was the best! Omg I have only been to 5 thai restaurant and this is by far the very best one.
It's an amazing restaurant! This is the best Thai cuisine that I've had in a very long time. The staff is wonderful, prompt and very accommodating. The service was so good that even the ownership came by our table to ensure my party was enjoying our dining experience. This restaurant is a must try!
I witnessed certain employees being mistreated to the point of them being fired for disagreeing with management. That is ridiculous. The food was Okay at best. Very mehhh. I’d look elsewhere first
The food is delicious, never disappointed. Be kind to the service they are putting in a good effort, and will fix anything. Miss Tee, thank you for opening in Pooler, I get to visit more often!
A delicious symphony in my mouth! Quaint ambiance.
We had a great time and a great meal. We started with the Tom Kah soup. It was excellent. I followed up with Masama Curry Pork. It was delicious! The service was attentive and friendly, but not overbearing. We are looking forward to our next visit.
The place is super cute and the food is really good but the server made the trip just not worth going. I can not even tell u his name cause he never told us and the only time he payed attention to us was to get the order and drop off the check.. the other waitress was great!! She filled our water and dropped off our food and even refilled our water..... it wasnt even busy for a sunday at 1 cause I understand the business there was about 5 ....2 top tables..... we will be back but I will make sure we dont sit in his section...
